Hippie by Paulo Coelho

Hello everyone! I wanted to share some quotes from a book I recently finished reading, Hippie by Paulo Coelho. I hope you enjoy this post!

“…everything she was doing there on Earth was to help others to approach the things they wanted with greater positivity” (15).

“All that God wished to reveal to man He placed right in front of him… Energy is to be found in the tiniest things man encounters in his path; the world is the true classroom, the Love Supreme knows you are alive and will teach you all the things you need to know” (24).

“May God give you…/For every storm, a rainbow,/For every tear, a smile,/For every care, a promise,/And a blessing in each trial./For every problem life sends,/A faithful friend to share,/For every sigh, a sweet song,/And an answer for each prayer” (24-25).

“As though everything truly had to be faced without fear, as a mere fact of life–we don’t choose the things that happen to us, but we can choose how we react to them” (49).

“A dream is something unpredictable and dangerous for those who lack the courage to dream” (77).

“…it’s possible to start all over again. Part of the fun in life is exactly this: running risks” (88)

“The ancients said that change is permanent and constant–because life passes quickly. If there was no change, there would be no universe” (120).

“But he’d just have to figure it out–life is all about figuring it out” (122).

“Each time you take a step forward, you will feel fear at what you’ll find” (159).

“It was all right, it was just one day, but one day was the most precious good he had on this earth” (161).

“Keep it simple, they all say. Keep it simple and you shall be happy” (205).

“The more we allow the world in, the more we receive–be it love, be it hate” (239).

“And everything gave me the knowledge I needed at the moment I needed it. I’ve had thousands of teachers throughout my life. […] I began o believe the flame would always light the way when I most needed it; I’ve been a disciple of life and I continue to be. I was able to learn from the simplest and most unexpected things, such a the stories parents tell their children” (245).

“Because a life without love isn’t worth living What is a life without love?” (248).

Thank you for reading this post! I hope that you find the time to read on your own happy and healthy adventure. 🙂 ❤
