Romans 12:1-2

At today’s church service, the second reading stood out to me.

Romans 12:1-2 King James Version (KJV)

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Thoughts:

We were put on this Earth for a purpose that God decided, and we shall present ourselves our our purpose as a sacrifice to God because it is our duty. If we act within our purpose and in the eyes of God, we will receive so much from Him.

We also should not let the world change us-essentially, do not given into peer pressure. Don’t let the world change you to fit its ideal of image of you. You are meant to be what God put on this Earth; you are not meant to be conformed by society. You are destined to follow God’s path for you; and you are supposed to follow your dreams and your heart, your mind. Other people shouldn’t transform or conform you-that’s your job and God’s job. If you follow your heart and listen to God and let Him in, you will be an example of God’s goodness. Let God guide you and love you as He is meant to do and remember to be yourself and love yourself as you are on your happy and healthy adventure. 🙂 ❤
